The worship of athletes, musicians and anyone with celebrity status is part of the reason why many people in society suffer so greatly. It is also one of the direct causes of people feeling not enough. People are looking for something to believe in because they’ve been programmed not to believe in themselves and cultivate a meaningful life. A ‘fan’ is short for fanatic, the definition of ‘fanatic’ is a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal.
